On May 1st a new Kayak shop will be opening up in Ithaca.  The store,
called PuddleDocker's will open for business and begin selling and renting
Kayaks out of their new store on Cayuga inlet.  The Shop is located
at 704 1/2 Buffalo St, right next door to Old Port Harbor.  The 
proprietor, Phil Crimmons, is an authorized dealer for Kayaks by
Seaward Kayaks, and Prijon.  

  Seaward Kayaks manufactures some top of the line single and tandem
touring kayaks in fiberglass.  They are beautiful boats with great
performance and can be customized to the buyers criteria.

  Prijon manufactures whitewater, sit-on-top, and touring kayaks in
polyethelene using a process which is considered by many to be the
best in the industry.  The kayaks from Prijon not only are top
performers, but are extremely durable and affordable.

  Phil also has a few used boats from his personal collection that
he'll be selling.

  PuddleDockers also has a large fleet of rental boats available 
for launching from a dock right outside the shop from which first time
or experienced paddles can explore the inlet or head out onto 
Cayuga lake.

  Instruction for beginners and intermediate paddlers will be
available and plans are underway for moonlight paddle tours and
other events.

  Come on down this weekend or any weekend and check out the new shop.
